Lyric Summary
|
From Avery’s programming notes: This piece was written for the Jazz Vocal 1 Ensemble at The University of Miami. The text explores the idea of transition and how music is often at the center of any transition I go through. Music is the anchor, the constant that keeps us grounded even in the most unsure of times.
