Composed by Lauren Kinhan (of New York Voices), this song from her album "Hardly Blinking" sounds like it has three movements, all building toward a powerful finish. Most of the arrangement features a soloist taking the fore, as it was commissioned by Fairview High School to feature Kinhan, but the ensemble material is intense and highly fulfilling to sing. The storyteller in this lyric gives her point of view of the beauty and importance of loving relationships and her resolve to have an open and free love of her own "against all odds." This chart is built to be a strong closer in your program.
